As an individual
You can make a real difference by fundraising and donating money, or volunteering your time and skills, to help us support women and children escaping domestic abuse. From giving a one-off gift, to hosting a bake sale, to sharing a hobby or professional expertise, every contribution helps transform lives.
As a corporate partner
Gilgal partners with organisations that share our values, and who can offer us corporate support through regular monetary donations, professional expertise, and volunteering. By becoming a corporate partner, you can create lasting impact in the community while directly supporting women and children on their journey to safety and recovery.
At our Charity Shop
The Gilgal Charity Shop on Bristol Road South raises vital funds for the refuge. You can get involved by volunteering your time – from sorting donations, to helping customers, to creating window displays – or even just popping by to donate quality items, or shopping for preloved treasures. Every contribution directly supports women and children in crisis.
In the community
Alongside providing emergency refuge for women and children fleeing domestic abuse, Gilgal also works to prevent crises through drop-in sessions in safe, accessible spaces. You can support this service by hosting a session, promoting existing ones, or referring people in need to our team.
