For general support, guidance, or a chat, fill in the form and one of our Support Team will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have a general enquiry about the refuge, shop, or anything else, find out other ways to get in touch.

Drop in to one of our Trusted Community Contact Points.
These are safe, welcoming spaces where women feel comfortable seeking support, such as GP surgeries, places of worship, mental health clinics, and community centres. Whether you need support with personal safety, housing, legal proceedings, or emergency accommodation, you’ll be able to talk, ask questions, and access free, confidential support.
Our drop-in sessions are casual, welcoming and completely confidential, with no referral or appointment needed. If you prefer to speak in person or would like to integrate support into your weekly schedule, pop in and see us at one of the locations below. Trained professionals from the Gilgal Team will be in attendance at the sessions.
Small Heath Drop-in
Sessions are held on the first Wednesday of every month, from 10am-12pm.

We’ve been hosting these sessions for a while in this quiet, community-focused space. A member of the Gilgal team – an experienced Support Worker and qualified IDVA – will be on-hand to offer personalised support and guidance.
West Heath Drop-in
Sessions are held every Friday morning, 9.30-11.30am, beginning 22 August 2025.

This is a new weekly session created to make it easier to reach out and talk to someone, and we’ll be here every Friday morning. A member of the Gilgal team – an experienced Support Worker and qualified ISVA – will be in attendance with friendly support and a warm welcome.

Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid – a local charity supporting women and children affected by domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault.

Refuge – the UK’s largest domestic abuse charity for women. Supporting thousands of women and their children to overcome domestic abuse.

Birmingham LGBT Centre – offering a range of services to the LGBTQ+ Community of Birmingham, including sexual health and domestic abuse advice, counselling, and wellbeing support.

Birmingham City Council – collated help for victims and survivors of domestic abuse by the Birmingham government.

Shelter – the housing and homeless charity. Providing advice, support and guidance to people facing poor housing or homelessness.

UK Addiction Treatment Centres – get help for addiction and substance abuse in Birmingham.

National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) – advice if you are under 18, or if you are worried about a child you think may be experiencing abuse.
